Sewing the city is a resilient urban landscape project developed to create solutions for living environment of informal settlements in Bogota. The current system is lack of public space and connection between neighborhood and water. 

The project has developed three strategies to consolidate a public space network:

• Strategy 1: create a green corridor along River Tunjuelo. The underused space around the river will be turned into green public space, for the purpose of attracting local residents to the riversides. In addition, some wetlands will be recovered for ecological services.

• Strategy 2: increase a number of public spaces along the cable car line, including pocket parks and public squares around cable car stations and posts, which can be used as open-air markets for local business like street vendors.

• Strategy 3: ‘Green Penetration’, which means bringing green into the neighborhood through using different kinds of green infrastructures, for instance, green roofs, rainwater gardens, green streets, etc. These green infrastructures will also connect green corridor and other public spaces.
